There is ample parking, however on weekend evenings
plan to spend some time circling the parking lot due to the large
amount of businesses in the area. Valet parking may be available,
but was not needed on the Sunday evening that this restaurant was
reviewed.
Upon entering, you will notice a large bar to your
left. Here you can sample a variety of margaritas including the
featured melon margarita blended with fresh cantaloupe. The dining
room is spacious. Though the room was cool, we found a comfortable
table aside an enclosed fireplace. Not only did the fire provide
warmth, but it also gave off a certain sense of coziness. The atmosphere
was festive, including a mix of Cuban and various Latin American
rhythms.

The dining room is filled with traditional and brightly-colored
Mexican decor. There are sombreros which are given to restaurant
guests who are celebrating their birthdays. The service is professional
and courteous. As soon as we were seated, we were given a basket
of chips and salsa and our beverage orders were taken promptly.
The salsa provides a new twist on the everyday tomato salsa. This
salsa boasts a blend of pineapples, mangoes, and chilies as well
as other fresh vegetables.
Though slightly spicy, it will not offend the most
selective of palates and even leaves a slightly sweet taste in your
mouth. The chips and salsa basket is kept full by the attentive
servers. The lavish display of shrimp fajitas is served sizzling
hot on an enormous stainless steel serving platter. The ample cuisine
is easily enough for two. The shrimp are served in the center part
of the dish over a bed of sautéed peppers and onions.
